The DDPI project will hold a series of seminars intermittently on topics such as policy solutions to disparities and inequalities and the potential of digital technology (digital democracy) for this purpose.

The 19th seminar, entitled ‘Crossing Borders: Refugees’ Quest to Build Resilience’, invited Dr Marie Sato, Assistant Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Tsukuba, to talk about the current situation and challenges of refugee assistance and to discuss the resolution of disparities and inequalities. The participants discussed how to eliminate disparities and inequalities.
