[June 28] Brainstorming with Aldrich-sensei and Iwasaki-sensei
On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, DDPI invited Professor Daniel Aldrich (Northeastern University) and Keiko Iwasaki Ph.D., (NLI Research Institute) to brainstorm and explore potential research collaboration opportunities. This was the first face-to-face research meeting in several years.
Associate Professor Yamamoto (DDPI leader) and Assistant Professor Okura (IPP, Tsukuba) participated from the meeting, with the support of Junior Researcher Tagawa (IAJS, Tsukuba) and Ms. Miao (PhD student, Yamamoto Lab). On the meeting, Yamamoto-sensei provided an overview of this project, with Aldrich-sensei’s & Iwasaki-sensei’s intelligent view, so all partcipants had a meaningful exchange opportunity to gain a great deal of insight into the direction of future collaborative research, as well as a lively exchange of ideas on how to “collaborate with tech companies” ro how to “promote research using open data existed”.
DDPI would like to take this opportunity to grateful appreciate for Aldrich-sensei and Iwasaki-sensei.
